Stari Trogir Bay is recognizable by its almost square shape, with a long sandy beach. It has been an attractive country place since antiquity, as evidenced by the rich archaeological heritage of the spacious housing and economic complex from Roman times, which has not yet been fully explored. In the easily visible remains of the complex, located on the coast, parts of ancient baths, cisterns, swimming pool frigidari and mosaic remains have been identified, but the remaining parts of this complex are partly in vineyards, a little further on land and partly submerged in the sea.
